:: RESUME : Overview

Currently living and working in Chicago, I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I have been building and programming computers since I was about nine years old and eventually decided to integrate it into my career.

In 1996 I started working for Kinko's and in less than 2 years became the Technical Assistant Store Manager in charge of computer services. Managing a small staff of 8 coworkers, my main reponsibilities were to install and maintain both the internal and public network and workstations. Additionally, my department was responsible for the layout and pre-press of all custom documents that came into the store.

In 1999, I relocated to Chicago, Illinois in order to finish my undergraduate degree at Columbia College-Chicago. I stayed with Kinko's during the move and eventually moved up to the regional offices working in document creation. By mid-2000, I chose to leave Kinko's to pursue a freelance career that was more related to my studies in interactive design.

Since 2000, I have regularly worked as a contractor for 2 local design firms. I also maintain my own clientele, working both on site and from my home studio. I will graduate from Columbia College-Chicago in June 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Interactive Multimedia with a concentration in applied programming.

In all, I have been working with computers and technology for approximately 20 years, 8 of those years professionally. I am an A+ certified service technician and a member of the HTML Writers Guild and the International Webmasters Association.
